The Tools section of Yohn.io includes powerful options to export your digital business cards in bulk. This is especially useful for printing your QR codes on physical business cards, sharing contacts with partners, or backing up your database.

Below is a detailed overview of the export options related to business cards and how you can make the most of them.

Bulk Cards XLSX Export

Exports business card QR codes in Excel format. The data is organized into three tabs:

  • Landing Links: QR codes linking to the users' personal mini-websites
  • VCF Links: "Online" QR codes linking to the users' contacts in .vcf format
  • Offline Code: "Offline" QR codes with the users' contacts encoded directly into the QR code

Each of the tabs contains the following columns:

  • Fullname: the contact's name
  • Links or offline QR data: a short link to the contact's mini landing page, .vcf contact file or the text contact data encoded into the QR code
  • Image: a QR code image linking to the same page or data

Bulk Cards Image Export & ZIP

This feature exports QR code images grouped into three folders inside a ZIP archive.

Export appearance settings

Before starting the export, you can fully customize the appearance of the QR codes. The following options are available:

  • Image size — Set the resolution of the exported images.
  • Margin — Adjust the white space around the QR code.
  • Background color — Choose a background color or set it to transparent.
  • Foreground color — Define the color of the QR pattern itself.
  • Export file format — Choose between PNG and SVG formats.
  • Logo or icon overlay — Add your company logo or a desired icon in the center of each QR code to make them instantly recognizable and on-brand.

These settings are applied to all QR codes in the archive, ensuring a consistent and professional look across all exports.

The exported ZIP archive contains the following 3 folders with QR images:

1. "landings" folder

QR codes that link to the mini landing pages described above. Scanning these codes takes the user to the contact’s info page in a browser.

2. "offline" folder

QR codes containing embedded VCF (vCard) data. Scanning an offline QR code:

  • Opens the contact card directly on the user’s device without internet access.
  • Allows immediate saving of the contact to the phone’s address book.
  • Works offline, perfect for events or places with poor connectivity.

3. "vcfs" folder

QR codes linking to online VCF files stored on the server. Advantages:

  • The VCF file can be updated anytime, keeping contact details current without reissuing QR codes.
  • Scanning downloads the VCF file which opens immediately in the phone’s Contacts app.
